R. H. Johnson Construction Inc. is a full service general construction company serving the state of Utah since 1972. We’ve helped public and private clients through every step of construction. We specialize in tenant improvement, commercial building, remodeling and renovation, industrial building, new construction and per-engineered steel buildings.
We have worked with clients all over the state of Utah, as well as in California and Nevada. Our goal is to provide our clients with quality work on time and within budget. Consistent craftsmanship has built our reputation. We love what we do and can’t imagine doing anything else.
After the loss of his father, at 22, Reese H. Johnson had to run the family farm while also attending BYU. More importantly, he had eight younger siblings and my mother who counted on him. He learned some valuable and important lessons from that very challenging experience. Quality workmanship, lots of hard work, using his time well, and good work ethics will be the difference that makes things happen. Doing these things along with working harder and longer than others changed everything!
He graduated from BYU with a BS degree in Industrial Education in 1970 and started RHJ Construction on October 4, 1972. Also becoming an engineering contractor in 1990, which means the company can do utility and site work in-house.
We have, in the ensuing 40 years, completed almost every kind of construction project imaginable. This experience and variety of work serve to provide our customers with a better completed product.
We are experienced in both large and small projects from office, food service and retail to industrial and institutional. We have been involved in tenant improvement work since 1981. We provide detailed and very competitive bids that tend to eliminate questions about what we have included in our proposals..
